Depending on your departure point, there are two main airports for reaching Playa del Carmen: Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Cozumel International Airport (CZM).

From Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Cancun is the nearest major airport, approximately 34 miles from Playa del Carmen.

Transportation Options:

Private Shuttle (Recommended): Provides direct, hassle-free service to your hotel with minimal wait time—ideal for families or groups traveling together. Amstar is a reliable and affordable option that offers comfortable round-trip transportation and professional service.

ADO Bus: A cost-effective and reliable option. Buses depart from Terminals 2 and 3 and arrive at Playa del Carmen's downtown station.

Car Rental: Provides flexibility for exploring the region. Rental agencies are available at the airport.

Taxi: Available but can be expensive. It's advisable to negotiate & agree on a fare beforehand.

From Cozumel International Airport (CZM)

Cozumel is an island located across from Playa del Carmen.

Transportation Options:

Ferry: Passenger ferries operated by Ultramar and Winjet run frequently between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, with a journey time of about 45 minutes. For guests staying at the Hyatt Vivid resort, Winjet's terminal offers the most convenient drop-off location, being the closest to the property.

Getting to Trujillos Cantina de Selva from Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen All-Inclusive Resort

Trujillos Cantina de Selva is a popular jungle-style restaurant and bar located just a short distance from the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen All-Inclusive Resort.

Walking: About a 10–15 minute walk (approx. 0.5 mile/ 0.8 km). Simply head north along 5th Avenue and turn left on Calle 38.

Taxi: A quick 5-minute ride. Taxis are easy to find, but fares can vary near tourist areas—it's best to confirm the price before getting in.

The area is safe and walkable, especially along 5th Avenue, so walking is a great option if you’re up for a short stroll.

Getting to Blue Venado Private Paradise Beach from the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen All-Inclusive Resort

Shuttle service to the venue will be provided for all wedding guests. Shuttle vans will depart from the entrance lobby of the Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen Resort at 3:15 PM sharp.
